Mountain Lion Hunts

Hunts take place on the Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest Lands as well as some bordering private ranches. Season is December 1 - February 15 and August 31 is the deadline for the license application. Excellent populations of lion with high success with the aid of dogs, snow shoes and snow machines. This can be a physical hunt.
